ebpSource celebrates SurePay's formal launch in Dominica

ebpSource is proud to share news of the formal launch of SurePay's bill payment service in Dominica.  SurePay Dominica, officially launched in late April 2023, is a one-stop bill payment service, powered by ebpSource's flagship enterprise-grade billing and payment platform, ebpSourceOne.

SurePay is a digital bill aggregation and payment service that offers fast, reliable, and secure bill payment in six countries across the Caribbean. With SurePay, customers have the convenience of paying all their bills in one place, with one receipt, or using one platform online. They can choose from various walk-in locations, online and mobile apps, and multiple payment methods including cash, cheque, mobile wallet, debit or credit card of their choice.

One of the key features that sets SurePay apart is its secure handling of funds distribution to each of the billers on behalf of customers, without any additional charges to those customers. The SurePay system updates payments to each biller's accounting system on an ongoing basis, ensuring that all account information is kept current and secure.

SurePay began operating in Dominica in June 2022, via various walk-in locations. Currently, SurePay processes bill payments for Dowasco, Flow, Sagicor, Fastcash, Ascendancy, and Pan American Life Insurance Company of the Eastern Caribbean, providing a comprehensive biller network for customers.

In addition to serving individual customers, SurePay also powers banks, credit unions, eWallets, and kiosk operators to collect payments for its expansive biller networks. This makes SurePay a versatile and powerful payment solution for businesses and financial institutions alike.

To celebrate the formal launch of SurePay in Dominica, an event was held at the SurePay Dominica Head Office in Roseau on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
